The ELSE Eagle MKIIII tactical UAV System was designed, developed, and manufactured by a staff that has many years of experience in design, manufacturing, maintenance and operation (military and civilian missions) of different kind of UAV systems from small hand launched UAVs to subsonic jet UAV’s.

Originally the ELSE EAGLE MKIII was designed as a test platform for Avionics used in ELSE EAGLE MKI and other ELSE Unmanned Vehicles projects. During the test flights, the EAGLE MKIII proved to be a capable platform and the company decided to add ELSE EAGLE MKIII to ELSE UAV’s family.

The Eagle flight control system makes it a fully autonomous UAV from takeoff, real time or pre-programmed flight with thousands of targets saved in its memory, possibility to operate it out of controllable range, over the horizon and back to autonomous landing.

The Eagle MKIII is highly mobile system that includes an MCU – Mobile Control Unit and several UAVs.

It should be noted that most of the system parts and components used by ELSE EAGLE MKIII are similar or with some minor modifications with ELSE EAGLE MKI.

The system can be carried on the roof top of a car, light truck or even man portable by two people (MCU, one UAV, basic tools, and fuel).

The Eagle MKIII can take off with a simple bungee launcher and land by parachute or autonomous wheeled takeoff and landing on a strait road of 20 meter.

A day, low light camera payload is an integral part of the UAV.
