ELSE Aviation have experience of more than 40 years of designing, building and flying of different helicopters, starting with two main tandem rotors two-seater and up to 4-seater conventional helicopter with a main rotor radius of above 10 meter. The manufacturing includes all mechanical and composite parts, rotor blades and avionics. Different engines were tested and used, starting with two strokes, four strokes, 2 to 6 cylinders to turbine engines. In addition, ELSE aviation built two helicopter prototypes to be used as unmanned helicopters in the range of 300 kg and 75 kg takeoff weight. Additional studies were carried out on different rotors configuration to achieve maximum efficiency, simplicity, and maintainability.
